The self-cleaning rotary jet head "TZ-74" performs impact cleaning with a 3D specified pattern. This device serves as a guarantee means to ensure the quality of tank cleaning in an automatic system. It is suitable for processes, storage, and transport tanks and containers ranging from 50 to 500 m3 (13,000 to 130,000 US gallons). When used in brewing, food, and dairy industries, automatic cleaning of the device and downpipe is strictly required, and the "TZ-74" has achieved particularly good results in the brewing industry worldwide. In terms of operation, the nozzle rotates around vertical and horizontal axes in a geared manner due to the flow of the cleaning liquid. First, the nozzle draws a coarse pattern on the inner surface of the tank, and then the pattern spacing gradually becomes denser until a complete pattern is achieved through 8 cycles of circulation. The SRU series rotary lobe pumps are designed for a wide range of applications in the brewing, dairy, food, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries. They can handle fluids from low to high viscosity, and the characteristics of smooth and low shear pump operation make them ideal for products such as creams, gels, emulsions (milk emulsions), aerated mixtures, and suspensions of fine cells or organic solids. The rotating spray head "SaniMidget" offers high efficiency, replacing traditional low-pressure, low-flow fixed spray balls. It is particularly suitable for sanitary applications and can be used in tanks with capacities ranging from 0.1 to 10 m³ (27 to 2,700 US gallons). The flow of the cleaning solution causes the "SaniMidget" head to rotate, creating a fan-shaped spray pattern that reaches every corner of the container. This generates a flow that combines oscillating impact and the movement of the solution along the inner walls of the tank or reactor. We would like to introduce a case study of equipment improvements for tank cleaning machines that guarantee high-level cleaning performance at breweries. The horizontal fermentation tanks at the brewery had been in use for many years. After a thorough examination of the existing CIP method, we replaced the previously used rotating spray head with the rotating jet head technology "Alfa Laval GJ PF FT." It became clear that not only significant savings could be achieved, but also substantial operational and business benefits.
