The disk-type centrifuge achieves an extensive separation sedimentation area of over 10,000 m² with a footprint of just 1 m² by stacking conical (umbrella-shaped) disks (separation plates) that open downward around a rotating axis. This allows for large-scale and high-speed separation in a small space. Hundreds of disks are stacked with a gap of 0.5 mm, and between the disks, centrifugal forces of 5,000 to 15,000 G are applied, allowing separation to be completed instantaneously. "CultureOne" is a single-use disk-type centrifuge designed for biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes. With its hermetic design (completely sealed), it gently processes culture media, reducing cell lysis. The "CultureOne Primo," boasting a product recovery rate of up to 99%, is a GMP-compliant solution suitable for the recovery of small batches of cell cultures.
