Our company was founded in June 1907 as a pioneering manufacturer of enamel products. We were the first in Japan to export enamel products to China, and subsequently expanded our sales channels to Southeast Asia, Africa, and America. Later, based on the solid technology developed in enamel, we transitioned to manufacturing stainless steel products, and now we are one of the largest comprehensive manufacturers of stainless steel pipe fittings in Japan. The "MIE" mark, which is a testament to the quality of our products, is recognized as a high-quality brand in countries around the world and has gained trust.
Business Activities
Our main business involves the manufacturing of stainless steel pipe fittings and flanges, which are joints for piping systems in factories, as well as prefabricated piping processing for entire piping systems. Our products are used in a wide range of industries, including petrochemicals, papermaking, food, pharmaceuticals, and semiconductors, as well as in shipbuilding for LNG/LPG tankers and chemical tankers, and in factory pipelines for seawater desalination plants. When high corrosion resistance is required, we work with difficult-to-process materials such as stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, Hastelloy, and duplex alloys. We are designated as an ISO 9001 certified facility for international quality management assurance, as well as an approved factory for butt welding construction by organizations such as the Nippon Kaiji Kyokai and the American Bureau of Shipping, and we are engaged in fields that require high levels of technology.
