At Alive Vision Software, we develop a vehicle ECU reprogramming (reprogram) system and new rewriting sequences that comply with the standards of various automobile manufacturers via CAN communication. Reprogramming requires an implementation that is deeply dependent on the individual architecture of the microcontroller, as the ECU itself switches control while rewriting the firmware. Our company has been responsible for low-layer development of the bootstrap section (Boot section) for numerous major automotive microcontrollers using assembly language and C language, flexibly responding to specification changes and bug fixes. Additionally, we have extensive experience in supporting strict quality management processes using various verification tools essential for automotive software development, such as CANoe, WinAMS, and QAC.

At Alive Vision Software, we handle the essential **"BSP (Board Support Package) construction" and "device driver development"** during the launch of new hardware. In this achievement, we were responsible for building a platform for hardware manufacturers in the development of radiation measuring instruments. Under the high-performance SoC "Zynq-7000" and real-time OS "eT_Kernel" environment, we reliably developed various drivers, including the VDMA driver for screen display, MIO driver, and GPIO driver, providing a stable operating foundation. We respond to challenges at the low layer level, such as "I want to entrust the OS porting and environment construction to a new microcontroller/SoC" and "I lack the manpower for developing dedicated drivers for peripheral functions and display control."

At Alive Vision Software, we accept commissioned work for systems without specifications and for the investigation and analysis of bugs in **"embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS)"** that occur infrequently and are extremely difficult to identify the cause. In this achievement, we were officially commissioned by the OS vendor that develops and sells the μITRON 4.0 specification RTOS "PrKernel V4" to provide advanced technical support and bug investigation for end users. In a fiber optic fusion splicer, we addressed a severe phenomenon with low reproducibility, where "the sound occasionally does not occur after hundreds to thousands of operations (a bug in EDMA)," by utilizing log analysis and debugger backtrace to identify an unfreed sequence in the exclusive control (semaphore). We quickly implemented a solution through a provisional implementation. For high-difficulty debugging and technical support issues such as "unexplained freezes or bugs occurring just before mass production or after the product has been released to the market" and "being unable to grasp the causes of complex bugs involving the OS, drivers, and hardware," please leave it to us.

At Alive Vision Software, we are conducting **"language porting (replacement) of PC software"** for old industrial machinery and machine tools that may become inoperable due to the end of support for operating systems and development environments. In this achievement, we completely migrated an in-house program written in "Fujitsu F-BASIC," which had its support ended on Windows 2000, to a C# environment for an automatic bending machine in the stamping industry. Although there were no documents such as specifications or design documents, we carried out the language migration by reverse engineering the old source code itself. We successfully accomplished the language migration of the PC software without modifying the existing system, including the control PIC microcontroller for the device (2-axis stepping motor control). This was a highly challenging program migration that two other companies had attempted in the past but failed. However, thanks to our reliable deciphering skills, we succeeded in the replacement and modernized the system with additional functionalities. If you are facing difficult situations regarding language migration of old PC software or issues with defects, such as "I want to rewrite software written in an old language to C#, but I only have the source code with no specifications," or "I consulted another company for migration but was turned down," please feel free to contact us.

The development of the "kernel itself," which is the deepest part of a real-time operating system (RTOS), provides extremely advanced system programming techniques. We have a solid track record over many years in the development of the pure μITRON kernel (such as the RI600 series) as an official commissioned development project from a major domestic semiconductor manufacturer (Renesas Electronics). Especially during the launch of new microcontrollers, we have successfully completed challenging joint projects by closely coordinating with the CPU core development team and the compiler development team within the manufacturer, releasing the pure RTOS simultaneously with the market release of the microcontroller (MCU). If you are facing difficulties that require specialized knowledge of the kernel layer, such as customizing existing μITRON kernels, porting to specific microcontroller boards, or conducting rigorous debugging around the OS, please feel free to consult with us.

At Alive Vision Software, we implement and port communication protocol stacks to in-vehicle real-time operating systems (RTOS) in the fields of next-generation mobility (EV/PHV) and smart grids. In this project, we were responsible for the implementation of the next-generation communication protocol (SEP2.0) and middleware for a dedicated ECU installed in plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHV) as part of a smart grid demonstration project conducted by a major domestic automobile manufacturer in the United States. If you are an automotive parts manufacturer (Tier 1 or Tier 2) or an energy-related equipment manufacturer facing challenges such as "wanting to implement advanced communication protocols in limited-resource RTOS environments (like OSEK or μITRON)" or "wanting to optimize and port open-source communication modules for your own environment," please feel free to consult with us.

At Alive Vision Software, we have conducted OS porting, driver development, and performance evaluation based on the real-time OS (RTOS) **"QNX Neutrino"** for "sequence controllers (industrial control devices)" that require high reliability and ultra-fast control in microsecond units. We strongly support the deployment of various models across multiple platforms spanning different CPU architectures (Intel, Arm) with our solid technical expertise in low-layer software. If you are a device manufacturer facing challenges such as "I want to port QNX to our own board (SoC) but lack the know-how," "I would like to evaluate whether real-time performance is truly being achieved on actual devices through overload testing," or "I would like to request customization of dedicated drivers to control peripheral ICs," please feel free to consult with us.

With the shift towards SDV (Software-Defined Vehicle) in automobiles, there is a rapidly increasing demand for development that allows multiple different operating systems (such as RTOS, Android, Linux, etc.) to coexist on a single high-performance SoC around the cockpit of in-vehicle systems. Our company specializes in system development that safely and efficiently enables high-speed communication between the safety-critical "microcontroller and control systems (AUTOSAR)" and the highly interactive "display and information systems (Android OS)" by leveraging hypervisor technology to maximize hardware performance, ensuring that they do not interfere with each other. Please feel free to download our catalog or contact us.
