We cut off the burrs and fins and polish the products. We use a sander to remove the burrs and fins and polish the products as needed. Most of this work is still done manually, and improving efficiency is one of the major challenges. However, this process also plays an important role as an initial inspection. Visual inspections and sound tests are conducted for all items, and marking inspections are performed as necessary for initial products or customer requests. Additionally, we are equipped with facilities for ultrasonic testing and magnetic particle testing, and we conduct hardness measurements, microstructure verification, and penetrant testing as needed. Deliveries are made using our own 3-ton trucks, charter services, or consolidated shipments. Furthermore, depending on the product, some undergo processes such as annealing, shot blasting, rust prevention painting, plating, and machining before shipment.

The mechanization of the frame removal process has not only achieved labor savings but has also had a remarkable effect on improving the working environment. Additionally, by introducing an eco-crusher into the sand processing equipment, we have increased the sand recycling rate and contributed to the reduction of industrial waste. We are using the latest shot blast equipment, which was just introduced in August 2006. The mechanism allows the impeller's rotation direction to change midway, ensuring an even application of the shot. Furthermore, by implementing a pass-through system, we have created a flow in the work process, resulting in increased efficiency.

The introduction of a 1.5-ton high-frequency induction furnace has made it easier to switch materials, allowing us to accommodate a variety of materials. We confirm that the composition meets the target specifications. Test pieces are taken from the molten metal, and the composition of 24 elements is analyzed to ensure it meets the target specifications. This enables us to guarantee the composition of all products. During the pouring operation, the amount of molten metal indicated on the work card is poured at the temperature also specified on the work card. Based on past achievements and experience, we can produce good quality products without waste.

• Processing Contract

The production process of cores requires batch mixing of sand in a non-continuous manner, which helps reduce waste through the use of batch mixers. Additionally, this mixer is also managed by a computer, just like continuous mixers. During the core assembly and covering process, several cores are assembled to create complex shapes. At this time, they are secured to resist buoyancy, and adjustments are made to allow gases generated during pouring to escape. Then, the upper and lower molds are aligned.

By using a machine to spray what was traditionally applied by hand with a brush, we were able to paint even narrow areas evenly and improve operational efficiency.

By controlling the strength and curing time of sand, which are often affected by temperature, humidity, and sand temperature, with a computer, it has become possible to produce stable quality.

Wood patterns are significantly related to product quality. Our company is committed to enhancing the storage of wood patterns, and we have an automated warehouse and a 200-tsubo wood pattern storage facility, where we carefully store the wood patterns. The process board indicates which cart will produce what, and once the setup is complete, the work card is removed from the board and affixed to the mold. This allows for a clear view of the progress status. The cart line operates slowly, taking 70 minutes for one cycle, during which molding takes place. This facilitates easy labor management for small-batch, diverse production and greatly reduces the burden of transporting heavy items, which is a characteristic of foundries.

Here, anyone can handle their tasks without strain, and even less experienced staff can produce products of higher quality than ever before.
