The IM Release Film® "Silicone Low Migration and Durability Enhanced Variation" is a functional release film (separator) designed to prevent peeling troubles that occur in your products and manufacturing processes, while suppressing changes in product characteristics. In addition to the basic function of release films, which is the property of "easy peeling," we offer a lineup that minimizes silicone migration and damage to the release surface caused by heat and solvents. Furthermore, to make it easier to select from various enhanced types, we provide a release film selection guide to assist you in your efforts to improve quality and productivity.

A new acrylic type has been added to the IM Release Film (R) (non-silicone type). With a silicone-free formulation achieving a peel strength of 250 mN/25 mm, there are increasing opportunities to consider it as an alternative to fluorosilicone, and it has received positive feedback from many users due to its high performance and cost-effectiveness. This release film (separator) can be used for bonding with silicone adhesives and for electronic material carrier films that dislike silicone.

A new acrylic type development specification [SN] has been added to the I'm Release Film (R) (non-silicone type). It is silicone-free and allows for control of peel strength between 700 and 5,000 mN/25mm. While it is not as lightly peelable as the previous acrylic [SP] type, heat resistance has been improved, and by varying the peel strength, it can be used in two ways: light peel and heavy peel.

A new fluorosilicone development specification [FE] has been added to the IM Release Film (R) (non-silicone type). It has achieved a 30-50% reduction in peel strength compared to the conventional [FB] for strong adhesive acrylic tape and silicone adhesive tape. Additionally, the silicone-free acrylic type [SN] has been introduced in five specifications—750 mN, 2500 mN, 3500 mN, 4500 mN, and 5500 mN/25 mm—to make it easier for customers to choose. IM is expanding the variety of non-silicone release films to help solve issues related to silicone transition troubles and peel selection.
