We engage in corporate activities with the goal of creating products and services that are needed in that era and bringing them to fruition.

Since its founding in 1950, Chuo Co., Ltd. has engaged in a diverse range of businesses, including paper wholesale, paper products, household goods, and miscellaneous items. Starting around 1980, we established production bases in Taiwan for household goods and miscellaneous items ahead of other companies, and subsequently began handling Buddhist altar products while also expanding production in Indonesia. Currently, we continue to manage a diverse range of businesses, just as we did at the time of our founding, including various Buddhist products such as our original Japanese-made altar mats (flame-retardant mats) and colors (ring sets), the import of materials like ebony and custom furniture, as well as carved wooden products, paper wholesale, paper products, and lifestyle goods such as stain-resistant fabrics for traditional clothing, Neo-Shimitoru, High Benjino, and water calligraphy sets. Additionally, leveraging our relationships and know-how with various manufacturers and processing partners, we also assist in the wholesale of various fabric materials, processing, and sewing, contributing to the manufacturing process.
