This heater is equipped with a floating tube that absorbs thermal expansion caused by the temperature difference between the CIP solution and steam at the beginning of each stage of the cleaning cycle. The Tetra Spiraflow CIP heater is a single-pass heat exchanger, with the CIP solution flowing through a parallel group of tubes. The heat transfer medium flows in between these tubes. The tubes for the CIP solution consist of several tubes of the same diameter. These tubes are of a corrugated type, which promotes turbulence in the liquid and enhances heat conduction.
