TakumiVision was established as a technology development venture company originating from Ritsumeikan University. In collaboration with Ritsumeikan University and Shiga University of Medical Science, we develop highly original proprietary algorithm libraries in the fields of image processing, audio processing, and medical diagnostics, which we offer as intellectual property. We also excel in implementing algorithms in LSI and embedded systems, considering chip implementation during the algorithm development stage and responding to custom requests for implementation. Additionally, we have accumulated results in algorithm development across a wide range of fields, leveraging this potential to undertake problem-solving algorithm development projects. Detects areas with differences between video frames and tracks them over time to identify moving objects. Simply taking the difference between frames can result in noise from changes in light due to shadows from sunlight or swaying trees caused by wind; however, our unique image signal processing reduces false detections. Additionally, it is possible to combine filtering processes to detect scenes with low brightness due to nighttime lighting or fog.

Our company's face detection processing allows for easy face registration using commercially available web cameras. Multiple users can also be easily registered, making it suitable for entry management and other applications. Recognition is possible if the distance between the eyes is 24 pixels or more (32 pixels or more is recommended), and even small faces can be authenticated. 【Features】 ● In speed priority mode, face detection from VGA input images takes about 30ms (depending on minimum detection size) on an Intel Core i7 2.93GHz. ● Easy to port to embedded versions due to high-speed processing and small footprint. ● Detection is based on eye features rather than estimation from face position, allowing for detection even when wearing glasses or masks. This technology is licensed and has already been commercialized as a card-sized box. The photos on this page are images that have been enhanced using the filter for degraded images (fog, darkness, backlight). By using our enhancement filter, it is possible to reduce the impact of bad weather and shooting environments, providing customers with clear images in various situations. The enhancement filter allows for fast processing, enabling enhancement processing for video files. Taxi Search & Call "HEY! TAXI!" displays available taxis near your current location or a specified area. By tapping the taxi icon on the map, you can view the driver's phone number. You can freely move the map to check for nearby taxis. When specifying a location, you can display available taxis near that area on the map according to your settings. You can set the display range to 500m, 1km, 3km, or no setting, and the number of displayed taxis to 3, 5, 10, or no setting. You can also configure which taxis to display on the map.
