Takahashi Kogyo Co., Ltd. was primarily engaged in shipbuilding at Kesennuma Port, but recognizing the harsh environment surrounding fishing boats and fisheries in the future, the company sought to venture into the unknown field of land-based operations, leading to its current state. By specializing in the unique technologies cultivated during the shipbuilding era, the company consistently handles everything from design to production and construction in the architectural field, mainly focusing on complex curved steel plate structures and three-dimensional design constructions. Takahashi Kogyo Co., Ltd. classifies its unique shipbuilding technologies into four main categories: 1. Design Technology: Designing and developing optimal three-dimensional ship shapes to meet performance requirements. 2. Drawing Expansion Technology: A method for approximating the expansion of ship hull curved outer plates into a two-dimensional plane, which cannot be fully expanded. 3. Ironworking Technology: Utilizing the contraction properties of iron to process and shape steel plates into arbitrary three-dimensional curved surfaces using flame and water. 4. Welding Technology: Performing continuous welding in all positions to match the curved shapes of the hull. By applying these shipbuilding technologies, which embody the principle of learning from the past to create new innovations, the company produces original works that blend into different industries in construction.
