住友ゴム工業 Company Overview

Contributing widely to the community and society, as a globally trusted and expected company - Sumitomo Rubber WAY.

In 2012, the Sumitomo Rubber Group announced its new long-term vision, "VISION 2020." In "VISION 2020," our aim is to become a "true global player with high profitability and high growth," and to be a company that "pursues value enhancement for stakeholders and the happiness of all employees." Until now, we have pursued value from two aspects: "economic value" realized through products and "social value" achieved through CSR and environmental protection activities. Pursuing these two values is essential for the sustainable growth of the company and is an important principle that has been passed down through the 400-year history of Sumitomo and should continue to be upheld in the future. The Sumitomo Rubber Group, along with our CSR message "for you, for the earth," will not only fulfill various social responsibilities, including compliance and environmental protection, but also, with our high technological and development capabilities looking toward the future, contribute to the realization of a sustainable society. We will work together as a group to remain a truly valuable presence for people, society, and communities.
