From acid cleaning of power plant piping to surface treatment of semiconductor and FPD manufacturing equipment, as well as experimental devices requiring ultra-high vacuum (UHV) and extreme high vacuum (XHV) environments.
San-ai Oblitec Co., Ltd. started with rust removal and rust prevention treatment for power plant piping, and now handles surface treatment of titanium components for aircraft, as well as surface treatment of vacuum equipment that requires advanced vacuum characteristics for semiconductor and FPD manufacturing equipment. Our technology is used in storage containers for samples collected by the asteroid explorer "Hayabusa" from Itokawa, and in the vacuum ducts of the large low-temperature gravitational wave telescope at the University of Tokyo's Institute for Cosmic Ray Research (KAGRA, with a total length of 6 km). Our clients range from major heavy machinery manufacturers to government-affiliated research institutions. We have three processing plants in the Kanto and Kansai regions, with the Kazusa facility in Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture, primarily focusing on electro-polishing, chemical polishing, and precision cleaning of vacuum equipment. The Tokyo facility in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture, and the Kansai facility in Takasago City, Hyogo Prefecture, focus on rust prevention, rust removal, and welding burn removal for carbon steel and SUS, with the Kansai facility also emphasizing surface treatment of titanium components. Additionally, our Technology Development Center in Kisarazu City conducts research and development on various metal surface treatment methods in response to customer inquiries. Our achievements have been recognized, and we received the prestigious Excellence Award at the 5th Iwaki Tribo Network Award.
Business Activities
■Chemical polishing, electro polishing, precision cleaning (SMC): We achieve cleanliness using the optimal cleaning methods based on the material type. By combining surface treatments (chemical polishing and electro polishing), we enable the attainment of a higher quality vacuum environment. We perform degreasing and cleaning processes suitable for the material type, followed by rinsing with pure water, and then blow-dry and package using nitrogen managed for dew point in a Class 1000 cleanroom before delivering to our customers. ■Precision regeneration cleaning (RMC): Utilizing years of experience and knowledge of chemical solutions, we remove various contaminants, enabling the reuse of components. We also handle the neutralization of contaminated parts during disposal. ■Rust removal, rust prevention, acid cleaning: Utilizing one of Japan's largest cleaning tanks, we accommodate a wide variety of chemical cleaning processes. For surface treatment agents, we use "Apolly A400," which is non-toxic and allows for simultaneous rust removal and iron phosphate coating. This significantly reduces the amount of waste liquid generated, contributing to environmental conservation. ■On-site cleaning services: In recent years, Japan has frequently faced natural disasters. We have conducted cleaning work for power plants affected by tsunamis and landslides. Additionally, you can trust us with the cleaning of factory piping lines and tanks.
