Maruyasu Industries Co., Ltd. utilized the corporate version of the hometown tax donation system to donate two solar hot water systems, "ReTerra," as part of its support for the reconstruction of Nanao City in Ishikawa Prefecture. The donation recipients are the Notojima Community Center and the Tokuda Community Center, which serve as community hubs for local residents and are also used as evacuation sites during disasters. ReTerra is a hot water supply system that uses solar energy to produce hot water, featuring the ability to reduce hot water energy consumption during normal times and to utilize the water in the storage tank as domestic water during emergencies. This initiative aims to support the community, which is progressing from recovery to reconstruction, by providing a long-term foundation for a safe living environment through the essential infrastructure of "hot water."
