The "Torch toilet" is a compost toilet that incorporates elements of a one-person sofa, making it blend seamlessly into any room. The processing tank beneath the seat contains a decomposition medium infused with microorganisms that break down organic matter using cedar sawdust. By warming and stirring this decomposition medium, over 85% of the waste is broken down into water and carbon dioxide, which is then vented outside.
