Nishigo Village in Fukushima Prefecture is focusing on food education for children through local production for local consumption activities and participation in the "Delicious School Lunch Contest." A case study on the introduction of solar-powered bio-toilets to mountain cabins has been published!

Our bio toilet has been adopted by a mountain lodge. Previously, they had a chair in the toilet room where a plastic bag could be set, operating on a "take your own waste back" system. However, they faced difficulties with people leaving their waste behind or discarding it along the hiking trails. To address this, they installed solar panels on the roof of the lodge and introduced our bio toilet "Violet BT-L" (which can be used up to 40 times a day).
