In preliminary surveys for offshore wind power generation and port construction, unexploded ordnance (UXO) and illegally dumped hazardous materials on the seabed pose significant risks to safety and project timelines. Due to the fear of secondary disasters, direct exploration by divers is challenging, necessitating safe and accurate location identification methods. We have now launched a solution page introducing a method that combines magnetic survey technology with ROVs (remotely operated vehicles) to conduct safe exploration without contacting the target objects. The high-mobility ROV "MOGOOL series," capable of carrying large sensors, supports the planning of safe project execution. - The magnetic survey device captures magnetic anomalies of unexploded ordnance buried in mud or sand, accurately mapping their location and depth in 3D. - It contributes to zero-contact exploration in seabed surveys before offshore wind construction, drum can investigations, and safety checks prior to dredging. - The MOGOOL-PRO P14000 can stably carry large sensors with a maximum underwater payload of 70.0 kg and a total of eight thrusters.

Regular thickness measurements are essential for underwater metal structures such as ships, port infrastructure, and offshore wind power generation facilities. However, traditional measurements conducted by divers have posed challenges in terms of safety and the labor involved in removing anti-corrosion coatings. Our company has launched a solution page introducing a multi-echo technology that allows for the measurement of metal thickness without stripping off the anti-corrosion coating, along with a method to operate this technology using ROVs (remotely operated vehicles). The combination of the Cygnus G1 Probe Handler and the high-mobility ROV "MOGOOL series" supports safe and efficient non-destructive testing. Features: - The multi-echo method enables the measurement of only the thickness of the metal parts without removing the coating, allowing for remote measurements using ROVs. - It can be utilized for ship inspections (UWILD), deterioration diagnosis of steel sheet piles, and pipeline inspections of offshore wind facilities. - Our MOGOOL series provides high thrust and attitude control to ensure stable contact of the probe, with maintenance support from our headquarters in Kyoto.
