Hirano Foundry Co., Ltd. was established in 1950 (Showa 25) as Hirano Technical Research Institute. At that time, it started as a business focused on product development and patent development for textile machinery and tea processing machinery, among others. One of the many products developed was a direct-fired coke furnace (trademark), which became a hit product. However, we struggled to procure cast iron parts, leading us to establish a foundry division in 1957 (Showa 32) to manufacture them in-house. Nevertheless, the era was marked by a fuel revolution from coke to propane gas, and we were unable to keep up with this change. Consequently, only the foundry division remained, and the company name was changed to Hirano Foundry, evolving into a business that supplies cast iron parts. Since then, we have received support from many customers over our 50-plus years of history, and we are grateful to be here today. The philosophy of Hirano Foundry is "to contribute to the richness of society with our unique casting technology." This means aiming to be a proposal-oriented company based on innovative casting technology that is not bound by conventional concepts.
