Kynar® PVDF polymer is a fluoropolymer that is very easy to process and requires little specialized processing equipment. It has a wide processing temperature range (the difference between melting temperature and degradation temperature). Kynar® PVDF polymer is approved by end users around the world due to its excellent characteristics. The product is available in powder or pellet form. Kynar Flex® copolymer possesses flexibility, high elongation, and the ability to be dissolved in various organic solvents, while maintaining weather resistance and processability similar to PVDF homopolymer. By varying the proportion of hexafluoropropylene, we offer a wide range of grades with different properties. All products are available in powder, pellet, and some aqueous emulsion forms. Kynar Aquatec® is a binder for high weather-resistant water-based paints that enhances adhesion to various substrates while lowering the minimum film-forming temperature by uniquely mixing acrylics with water-based emulsions of PVDF resins, making it suitable for use in room temperature drying paints. Due to the high baking temperature required, the highly weather-resistant Kynar 500® paint can only be used on metal substrates, but by using Kynar Aquatec®, it is possible to produce high weather-resistant paints for substrates with lower heat resistance or those that are difficult to paint in a factory setting.

Rilsan Fine Powders has been adopted in many products, including plumbing materials and automotive parts, since it was developed about 50 years ago as a powder coating for metal painting for rust prevention. Rilsan Fine Powders, synthesized from castor oil, is a 100% plant-based product and does not contain harmful additives to the environment.

Rilsan HT is a new high-performance flexible PPA resin that combines the high heat resistance of polyphthalamide (PPA) with the flexibility of polyamide (PA). Orgasol is a high-quality polyamide powder manufactured and sold by Arkema, with particle sizes precisely controlled. It can primarily modify various properties of other materials by mixing and dispersing it within them. With its fine particles and extremely narrow particle size distribution, as well as excellent compatibility with various resins and solvents, Orgasol is expected to be used in a wide variety of applications as a unique modifying material.

Rilsamid is a polyamide 12 (PA12, nylon 12) manufactured and sold by Arkema. By controlling the conditions of polymerization and compounding, it is possible to change various physical properties such as viscosity, strength, flexibility, rigidity, and impact resistance, offering a wide range of products suitable for various applications. Rilsamid is produced in France and the United States, and the products are supplied in pellet form. It can be processed using various molding methods such as extrusion, injection molding, and blow molding.

By pressing the seeds of "castor bean," which can be cultivated even in barren land where edible plants do not grow, we can obtain "castor oil." Arkema synthesizes 11-aminoundecanoic acid (PA11 monomer) by chemically processing castor oil and is the only company in the world that manufactures and sells polyamide 11 (PA11, nylon 11) under the brand name Rilsan. Rilsan has obtained the biomass mark established by the Japan Organic Resources Association and has been certified as biomass plastic by the Japan Bioplastics Association, being listed on the positive list. Rilsan (PA11) has good crystallinity, making it significantly superior in "chemical resistance," "impact resistance," and "thermal degradation resistance" compared to PA12 (nylon 12), which has similar properties.
