Matsui Painting Industry Co., Ltd. was established in 1965 in Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. At the time of its founding, the company was engaged in the painting of caps for 35mm film produced by Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd. As this product transitioned to pre-coating, the company shifted to painting parts related to medical equipment, such as X-ray film developing machines. These devices consist of housings, panels made of sheet metal, small parts, and components requiring putty, and although they are all metal parts, the painting methods varied subtly or significantly.
