Experiment on the out-of-plane bending performance of concrete block walls.
We conducted joint research under the supervision of Nagoya Institute of Technology. As a result of the experiments... Compared to conventional reinforced concrete: ■ When 2mm is applied to unreinforced concrete, it achieves approximately 120% strength and approximately 160% toughness. ■ When 3mm is applied to unreinforced concrete, it achieves approximately 160% strength and approximately 200% toughness. This can slow down the collapse speed in the event of an earthquake, thereby helping to prevent human disasters.
