Why is it that the shade of a corrugated roof is hot while the shade of a tree is cool, even though the wind passes through and the temperature remains the same? The answer is "radiant heat." Radiant heat refers to electromagnetic waves such as far-infrared radiation. When you have a campfire in a drum can, your body warms up even though the wind is blowing. In this way, radiant heat moves from the hotter object (the drum can) to the cooler object (the human body), transferring heat regardless of the air temperature. "Thermo Barrier Fit" is a heat insulation sheet that significantly reduces heat released by enclosing areas around drying ovens and machinery. At approximately 0.2mm thick, it can cover a wide area by being joined together. By installing ducts, it allows heat to escape outdoors, thereby reducing the risk of fire and machinery failure. It has obtained non-combustibility certification from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, making it safe for use around high-temperature furnaces. The radiant heat emitted from the folded plate roof is significantly reduced by the reflection of the radiant heat by the inner thermal barrier S. This results in a lower perceived temperature. A lightweight steel frame is constructed under the folded plate roof, and the thermal barrier S (non-combustible certified product) is installed onto the lightweight steel frame using tapping screws. *Working at heights or the installation of rolling scaffolding is a requirement.

Among the numerous examples of Thermo Barrier installations, we would like to introduce a case where it was applied to the roof of a cow barn. ▶︎ As a measure against heat, Thermo Barrier S was installed under the roof of the cow barn. 【Feedback after installation】 I believe that summer has become quite comfortable for both humans and cows. - Before installation, it was so hot that it was impossible to work, but after installation, the heat became a non-issue. - The temperature inside the cow barn dropped below 30°C. - The cows started eating feed better, and their weight increased.

We use ThermoBarrier S as packaging material for maritime transport. Instead of using standard containers, we pack the products in specially designed large wooden boxes for sea transport. The products being transported are precision machinery that is sensitive to heat, and since they may pass through the equator, we package them with ThermoBarrier S and additionally wrap the large wooden boxes in ThermoBarrier S for transport. Originally, we were able to transport them without any issues up until about 3 to 4 years ago, but we started experiencing malfunctions and deformations due to heat. Therefore, we began using ThermoBarrier S as packaging material, and we have not encountered any problems since. Since it is a rental item, caulking was not used; instead, the overlapping parts were made larger to prevent water intrusion, and finished with glass cloth aluminum tape. In addition to heat countermeasures, we also expect benefits during the winter.
