[Super Sol Construction Case] Example of Backfill for Retaining Wall - Goro Fureai Bridge Maintenance

This is a case study of the construction work related to the maintenance of the Go-Roku Fureai Bridge.

We would like to introduce a case study of the construction of the artificial lightweight material "Super Sol," which is made from crushed and sintered waste glass. This case involves the backfilling of a retaining wall. In the auxiliary works of the bridge, Super Sol, which has high permeability, was applied as river embankment material. It was used as backfill material for block masonry, and some areas were constructed with lightweight mixed soil (60% Super Sol and 40% soil). 【Construction Case Study】 - Project Details: Auxiliary works for the Goro Fureai Bridge - Usage Category: Civil Engineering / Structure Backfill / Retaining Wall - Client: Mizuho City - Construction Location: Mizuho City, Gifu Prefecture - Required Performance: Lightweight and reduced soil pressure For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
