In cutting processes and 3D printing, the materials and manufacturing methods differ from those of mass-produced parts, making it impossible to conduct evaluation tests such as environmental tests and strength tests. If using a prototype mold, parts can be made using the same methods as mass-produced parts, allowing for evaluation tests to be conducted during the design and development phase before creating mass production molds, enabling early-stage countermeasures for any issues in the development schedule.
