The Kvaser Air Bridge M12 is a compact yet advanced wireless CAN bridge device. It can connect multiple slaves to a single host and can be configured wirelessly for CAN bus connections. Compared to other wireless technologies, it achieves extremely low latency, enabling the wireless configuration of CAN bus networks. The design emphasizes ease of use while maintaining a certain level of flexibility for users, such as optimized CAN bus parameters and CAN message filtering. The Kvaser Air Bridge M12 can wirelessly connect multiple CAN devices within a single CAN bus, making it suitable for more advanced system applications. By wirelessly connecting the CAN bus to products flowing on the production line, it allows for greater flexibility in the design of the production line. In recent automotive development, quickly sharing data from experimental vehicles in the cloud has increased development efficiency. As a result, the demands for security have become higher. Kvaser Edge has been developed as an edge device that can meet such needs. In addition to compliance with European CRA standards for cybersecurity features, it is a high-performance computer equipped with robustness for edge use and a 4-channel CAN/CAN FD interface.
