Orii was established in 1950 as Orii Coloring Works and has been engaged in the coloring of various products such as art crafts, bronze statues, and Buddhist implements while inheriting Takaoka's traditions. In recent years, certified traditional craftsmen have developed a unique coloring method that further evolves traditional techniques.
