Wako Industry Co., Ltd. has been developing and manufacturing products that contribute to infrastructure development as a concrete secondary product manufacturer since its establishment in 1973, with the slogan "Kind to people, kind to the community, kind to the environment." Since the beginning, we have actively engaged in the employment of people with disabilities, and currently, about 40% of our employees are individuals with disabilities. We provide employment at our company and support the lives of people with disabilities through the nearby "Social Welfare Corporation Wakakokai," striving to create an environment where individuals with disabilities can work normally. The Wako Industry Cultural Lecture Series, which invites prominent speakers every year, is one of the initiatives we hold to express our gratitude to the local community that supports the lives of people with disabilities. Our efforts extend beyond just the employment of people with disabilities; we have also been making relentless efforts in new product development and design consulting as a small to medium-sized enterprise. Moving forward, we will continue to promote the employment of people with disabilities while constantly considering "what we should do for community development" and challenging ourselves in various ways.
