Kyushu Electric Industry Co., Ltd. is a company that primarily engages in power construction and energy-saving projects related to telecommunications. It started in 1962 under the name Kyushu Wired Broadcasting Equipment Services, primarily as a construction company for agricultural wired broadcasting telephone systems. Subsequently, with the opening of the Shinkansen (bullet train) at Hakata Station, the company undertook construction work to prevent television signal reception issues caused by elevated structures. In the 1970s, it was involved in the installation of in-house exchange systems and business telephone equipment, and in the late 1980s, it expanded into power-related communication equipment construction and educational LL equipment construction. Since the 1990s, it has been engaged in telecommunications construction, adapting to the needs of the times with PHS and mobile phone systems. In recent years, with the remarkable advancement and proliferation of information and communication technology, we are committed to being a part of the construction of social infrastructure as telecommunications construction becomes increasingly sophisticated, and we will continue to strive for progress every day.
