The installation space was very limited, and the neutralization process involved strong acid (pH 2-3), but we designed a two-stage treatment (neutralization tank to discharge tank) to save space. In the case of acid washing wastewater, especially since it was indoors, we were concerned about the strong acid atmosphere, so all the frames were made of stainless steel. We received an inquiry from Company D, a major chemical plant in Niigata Prefecture, stating, "We want to neutralize dilute sulfuric acid. We want it to be as compact as possible for indoor installation." We designed and proposed a small neutralization device that meets the conditions of treating dilute sulfuric acid at a pH of about 3 at room temperature (around 25°C), with a batch liquid volume of 60L and a drainage cycle of once per hour. The discharge will be done by opening an electric valve after confirming the pH, allowing it to flow into the pump provided by the customer. Additionally, regarding the support system that the customer was concerned about, we explained that there is a system in place for emergency response from our Toyama branch, which reassured them.
