We received an inquiry from a chemical plant in the Kanto region regarding the update of an existing malfunctioning neutralization system. The wastewater volume was approximately 500L/day, and it consisted of highly alkaline wastewater, including alkaline leachate from concrete. We proposed the use of the corrosion-resistant submersible pump LC series for transferring the wastewater from the pit. We adopted a type that allows for liquid level control using a float, while still being highly resistant to corrosion. Ultimately, they placed an order for a complete system that includes the transfer from the pit, neutralization, and discharge, which also involves updating the neutralization system. They appreciated the speed of our proposal, our understanding of the existing equipment, and the accompanying suggestions.
