Core-corona type particles have a structure in which hydrophilic units are arranged radially from a core part made up of hydrophobic units. There are grades with corona parts of different ionicities, and they are stabilized in dispersion in water by the hydrophilic units on the particle surface. When core-corona type polymer microparticles are used as a binder for the anode of lithium-ion secondary batteries, they show a higher capacity retention rate and better rate characteristics compared to anodes using conventional binders. 【Features of Core-Corona Type Binders】 - Strong adhesion to the active material surface due to the functional group effects of the corona chains - Low electrode resistance - Does not swell in electrolyte - Enables the production of batteries capable of high-speed charge and discharge For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

The "Senka Act Gel Series" is a W/O emulsion-type thickener that provides thickening effects with short stirring times. It does not require the addition of alkali (pH adjustment) like alkali-thickening types. As it is an easy-to-handle liquid product, it can be widely used for thickening various water-based products. There are various grades available depending on the ionic nature and pH of the target solution. 【Features】 ■ Thickening effects can be achieved with short stirring times ■ Does not clump like starch or gum when added to water ■ Lower stringiness (viscosity that pulls like a thread) compared to starch-based thickeners, showing high thixotropy ■ Capable of thickening water-based emulsions such as acrylic and vinyl acetate (e.g., paints, adhesives) ■ Senka Act Gel AP200 is suitable for neutral to strongly alkaline regions Senka Act Gel AS100 is suitable for weakly acidic to alkaline regions Senka Act Gel NS100 is suitable for weakly acidic to alkaline regions Senka Act Gel CM100 is suitable for acidic regions Senka Act Gel CD100 is suitable for strongly acidic to alkaline regions Shows high thickening effects in the above pH ranges (e.g., cleaning agents) *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

"SENKACOSMAUT C & A Series" consists of thickeners formed by W/O (water-in-oil) emulsions. They are useful for texture control and thickening in conditioners, hand creams, hair dyes, cosmetic perms, and more. Offering excellent handling, they dissolve in water simply with propeller stirring—eliminating the need for the special dissolution equipment required for conventional cellulose, starch, or guar-based thickeners. In addition, they exhibit lower stringiness than starch-based products and demonstrate high thixotropy. By selecting the appropriate grade according to ionicity and purpose, you can achieve powerful thickening across various pH ranges and formulate products with a wide variety of viscosities and sensory feel. We have summarized key physical properties in a table to assist with your ingredient selection. [Contents (Excerpt)] ■ Cosmetic Nomenclature ■ INCI Name ■ Ionigenicity ■ Chemical Structure ■ Appearance ■ Active Ingredients ■ Viscosity ■ pH For more specific product specifications and formulation recipes, please check the respective [Technical Data] pages. *For more details, please view the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Our company has refined the synthesis technology of water-dispersible polymer microparticles known as "core-corona type microparticles" and is focusing on their application in the battery field. "Elevain" can be used as a binder for both the anode and cathode. It offers high design flexibility and can be used in the same way as SBR. Additionally, electrodes using core-corona type polymer microparticles as a binder demonstrated a higher capacity retention rate compared to electrodes using conventional binders. 【Features】 ■ High design flexibility ■ Usable as a binder for both anode and cathode ■ Can be used in the same way as SBR *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
