Metal heat treatment has been faced with significant challenges as a processing method that generates a lot of CO2 emissions, leading to what can truly be called a "carbon shock." Our company has long been engaged in ammonia quenching, known as "nitriding quenching." I believe that the CO2-free "nitriding quenching" holds great potential as a decarbonized heat treatment method. In this seminar, we will have a lecture by a professor researching "nitriding quenching" and a presentation of case studies from our company.
