The "IC-8100 Series" is an ion chromatograph that employs a unique high-speed, high-resolution column, allowing for the measurement of anions and cations in as little as 5 minutes per sample. With the automatic exchange-type gel suppressor system, high-sensitivity analysis can be performed continuously without being affected by contaminants in the sample. By connecting to a post-column reaction system, it is possible to measure drinking water standard items containing bromate in under 10 minutes. Analyses that were previously conducted under multiple conditions can now be performed in a single measurement. The auto-sampler comes standard with an automatic dilution function. Concentration measurements using a concentration column are also available as an option. The combustion decomposition-ion chromatography method involves absorbing gases generated by the combustion decomposition of a sample into an absorbent solution and measuring them using ion chromatography. This introduces an example of analysis using our high-throughput column in combustion decomposition-ion chromatography.

In the analysis of fluoride ions using ion chromatography, depending on the analytical conditions, products generated by the addition of ethylenediamine to the sample may interfere with the peak of the fluoride ions. Similarly, the separation of silicate ions and fluoride ions is also important for the quantification of fluoride ions.
