NATROSOL F-2000 is a cellulose-based water-soluble thickener newly developed by Ashland, capable of enhancing the performance of conventional HEC. It has a strong track record, particularly in decorative coatings resembling sand or earthen walls overseas. ◎ High Thickening Efficiency Compared to conventional high-viscosity HEC, it can reduce the required amount by approximately 43%, which is expected to lower coating costs. ◎ Excellent Water Resistance It has been confirmed to have superior water resistance in immersion tests compared to conventional HEC, preventing whitening of the coating film. ◎ Color Stability It exhibits excellent color stability and high saturation. In decorative coatings resembling sand walls, it presents a natural coloration close to the original colors of stones and sand. EASY-WET is a new product from Ashland, a U.S. company, and is a hydrocarbon-based wetting agent (surfactant) that can be used for various industrial coating applications such as wood, metal, automotive, industrial finishes, printing inks, and plastic coatings. <Main Features> - Excellent Wetting (Leveling) Compared to conventional hydrocarbon-based wetting agents or silicone-based wetting agents, it quickly reduces the contact angle and achieves equal or better performance. It enables the application of a smooth coating film on substrates, forming a uniform coating even on the edges of the substrate. - Low Foaming and Formation of Coating Films with Few Craters In continuous stirring tests, it has been confirmed to foam less than conventional hydrocarbon, silicone, and fluorine-based wetting agents, allowing for the formation of coating films with fewer craters. - Biodegradable, Low VOC The basic structure is composed of hydrocarbons, resulting in low environmental impact and biodegradability.
