The supply and storage of processing workpieces are done using a tray system, and the clamping of the workpieces employs a mechanical clamping method. The "TCV-2D model" is a vertical core drilling machine that processes ultra-telephoto lenses and the outer circumference and beveling of flat glass from digital cameras. To maintain the outer diameter processing accuracy for workpieces with a maximum size of φ150×thickness up to 40mm, it incorporates high-precision guides in the slide section for the grinding wheel shaft. The workpiece is transported by an XY robot, and processing is carried out in "fully automatic" operation. By placing the stocker unit at the top of the device, we have achieved a compact design.
