Kurare Fastening Co., Ltd. has newly developed a "Magic Band" soft type that reduces thickness by 25% compared to conventional products. It can be easily wrapped around objects for binding and can be reused multiple times. By adopting a soft resin and finishing it thinly, it has become easier to wrap around slender items, and it also features minimal decrease in binding strength even after prolonged use. We have newly developed a mesh type insect-repellent molded with "Velcro(R)" and have started market evaluation. The base fabric part contains repellent components within the mesh structure of the molded hooks. By simply attaching it to the insect pathways, it reduces the intrusion of pests. It is effective against various crawling insects such as ants, stink bugs, spiders, and centipedes. It can be easily attached with loops or adhesive, and due to the flexibility of the tape, it conforms to the uneven surfaces of the installation target.
