The Yelven mattress was developed in 1980 and has a history and track record of about 30 years. In Sweden, 75% of hospitals, nursing homes, and home care facilities use the Yelven mattress for pressure ulcer prevention and hygiene management. We eliminate contamination from external substances and use a 0.1 μm sterilization filter to provide stable quality with minimal lot-to-lot variation. We would like to introduce the 'BBB Kit', an in vitro blood-brain barrier reconstruction model manufactured by PharmacoCell, which we handle. This product reconstructs the blood-brain barrier (BBB) in a cell culture plate by co-culturing three types of cells that make up the BBB. All cells are primary cultured cells isolated from the cerebral cortex of macaques or rats, and they maintain functions that closely resemble those of the in vivo BBB.
