Nishijin-ori, woven in Kyoto since before the establishment of Heian-kyo, has had its designs and techniques refined for over 1,200 years, passed down through generations. Among these, a Nishijin-ori manufacturer that was founded over 150 years ago and has been involved in decorative items for traditional architecture has launched a brand called KYOGO to expand the possibilities of Nishijin-ori. The textiles, intricately woven using gold and silver threads, shine when exposed to light, displaying various expressions and elegantly enhancing the space.
