Work environment measurement

The workers' motivation to work increases, leading to improvements in productivity and quality control!

"Work environment measurement" is a means to prevent health disorders in workers engaged in tasks involving hazardous substances by measuring the concentration of hazardous substances in the work environment and determining whether scientific improvement measures are necessary. It is a fundamental aspect of occupational health measures. In designated workplaces handling organic solvents, specific chemical substances, lead, dust, etc., work environment measurements require technical expertise and are conducted by certified work environment measurement professionals or organizations. Additionally, as a means of chemical substance risk assessment, work environment measurement is recommended as a highly reliable measurement method. [Features] ■ It can prevent health disorders in workers from hazardous factors present in the work environment and maintain the work environment in an appropriate condition. ■ A good work environment allows workers to concentrate on their tasks with peace of mind. ■ Workers' motivation increases, leading to expected improvements in productivity and quality control. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Analysis of organic acids by ion chromatography.

We propose leaching tests according to ASTM standards! Useful as part of investigating the causes of corrosion based on the values of organic acids.

Our company extracts organic acids from the target substance into water through immersion and extraction operations, and measures and reports organic acids such as formic acid, acetic acid, and propionic acid (short-chain fatty acids) in the obtained extract using ion chromatography. This data can be effectively utilized as chemical information to understand the concentration of organic acids in food products and to identify the causes of piping troubles. It is used in the field by food handling businesses, the food service industry, and kitchen equipment handling companies. 【For concerns like these】 ■ I want to know the organic acids in food components that contribute to sourness and umami. ■ Ant nest-like corrosion has occurred in the kitchen piping, and I want to know the cause. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Exterior wall tile peeling investigation

Are there any tiles that are lifting or peeling? Properly analyze the components of the defective areas to identify the cause.

Our company can chemically investigate the causes of tile lifting and detachment by understanding the poor application of water absorption adjusters and the presence of residual release agents on the detached exterior wall tiles. It is possible to clarify and improve the causes of tile detachment (residual release agents, poor application of water absorption adjusters). If tile lifting and deterioration are left unaddressed, there is a risk that the exterior wall may detach and cause harm to third parties. Please feel free to contact us when you need our services. [Features] ■ It is possible to chemically investigate the causes of tile lifting and detachment. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Metal Materials Brittle Fracture Cases] Investigation of Fracture Causes in Quenched and Tempered Parts

Identify the type of fracture from the fracture morphology remaining on the fracture surface! A case study on investigating the cause of metal component cracking.

Here, we present a case of brittle fracture, which is a type of destruction. Upon further microscopic observation (using an electron microscope) of the fracture surface, features that were not apparent in macroscopic observation (visual inspection) became clear. From the microscopic observation images magnified approximately 1000 times, the fracture surface of the metal component displayed characteristics of cleavage fracture and suspected cleavage fracture. These are characteristic fracture surfaces observed in brittle fractures, allowing us to conclude that this metal component was fractured in a brittle manner. 【Case Summary】 ■ Features that were not apparent in macroscopic observation became clear ■ Shapes of cleavage fracture and suspected cleavage fracture were observed ■ It was determined that the fracture occurred in a brittle manner *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Metal Materials Fatigue Fracture Case: Investigation of Shaft Fracture Causes

It is possible to establish the timing for parts replacement! Here we introduce a case study on investigating the cause of metal parts breaking.

Here is an example of fatigue failure, which is a type of fracture. From several microphotographs taken at tens of times magnification, multiple ratchet marks (steps generated by the merging of fatigue fracture surfaces) were observed near the fracture initiation point. Additionally, at approximately 1000 times magnification, striations (fatigue wrinkles) were seen as wave patterns. These characteristic patterns observed in fatigue failure were noted on the fractured surface of this metal component, allowing us to conclude that this metal part failed due to fatigue. [Case Summary] - Features not discernible through macro observation (visual inspection) were revealed. - Ratchet marks and wave patterns known as striations were observed. - It was determined that the failure was due to fatigue. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

We carry out measurements of the concentration of welding fumes in the air during metal arc welding operations to verify compliance with standard values. In cases where the values exceed the standards, we utilize the concentration data to select appropriate respiratory protective equipment. A work environment measurement specialist will develop a plan after hearing from the business operator about the work conditions and will carry out the measurements. A personal sampler will be attached to the breathing zone of the workers to collect welding fumes (manganese) from the air. **Benefits** - Health management for employees - Selection of respiratory protective equipment *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.*
