• Plastic Mould

Sanko has successfully formed side walls with uneven thickness by adding forging elements to the drawing process. In our unique molding experiments inspired by components of automotive CVTs, we completed the prototype mold in four processes (two forging drawing processes + two end face cutting processes). We can also accommodate considerations for press forming feasibility during development. In "Composite Processing of Cold Forging," complex concave and convex shapes can be formed through various composite processing techniques such as crushing, extrusion, and transfer. By effectively utilizing forging shape analysis and element experiments, we implement efficient production startups. Surrounding equipment, such as material supply devices and transfer transport devices, is custom-made to match processing conditions. With dimension management at the 0.001mm level, we can accommodate mass production of tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of units per month. "Corner Beading Process for Automotive Airbags" By utilizing press forming analysis during mold design, it is possible to achieve almost no errors during actual prototyping and enable short lead times for initial product delivery. To set an optimal flange shape according to the product shape, we minimize material usage and realize environmentally conscious manufacturing. Busbars generally use copper materials, but there are always parts that must be discarded during the material processing in press working. To maintain the Earth's environment, we want to reduce this as much as possible! Our company proposes the ultimate material utilization through edgewise bending in the press process, segment processing that reduces trimming punch width to zero, and a combination of other original special techniques. We will devise a method tailored to the desired busbar shape. While significant material reduction may be possible, unfortunately, there are also cases where this is not achievable. All molds are manufactured at our own factory in Nagano Prefecture. Skilled craftsmen assemble molds processed with cutting-edge equipment. We accommodate VA/VE initiatives such as transitioning from other methods to pressing or resin molding, material reduction, and productivity improvement. One of our strengths is the ability to procure both pressed and resin parts in-house. We can manage insert and outsert processing centrally. For unit components, we handle everything in-house, starting from mechanical design, various pre-evaluations using CAE, to assembly production.
