Since its establishment in 1905, the Kobe Steel Group has harnessed its cultivated "manufacturing capabilities" as a driving force for growth, providing products and technologies that meet diverse needs. Our group boasts numerous distinctive products and technologies born from innovative ideas, and we leverage this diversity of technology to develop a multifaceted management approach across a wide range of business fields. In April 2016, we launched the "2016-2020 Group Medium-Term Management Plan," setting "transportation equipment lightweighting" and "energy and infrastructure" as future growth areas as part of our vision "KOBELCO VISION 'G+'" to establish three pillars of business. The three pillars of business are: "material-related businesses" such as steel, welding, aluminum, and copper; "machinery-related businesses" including industrial and construction machinery and engineering; and the "power business." Additionally, moving forward, we aim to create new value for the entire group by demonstrating synergy effects across these business areas, contributing to the development of society and industry.
