We are developing a carbon fiber composite materials business that integrates Toray Industries, Inc.'s carbon fibers with the manufacturing foundation and converting functions we have built in the fiber and chemical products sector, for various applications. The demand for carbon fiber composite materials is expected to continue expanding in various fields, including civil engineering and construction, transportation applications such as aircraft and automobiles, as well as IT, sports, and nursing care. As a member of the Toray Group, we are engaged in the sales of Toray's carbon fiber-related materials and the development, manufacturing, and sales of intermediate materials using carbon fibers.
