We aim for continuous ZEB operation to contribute to the realization of a decarbonized society, while also enhancing the health and intellectual productivity of building users by incorporating biophilic design and Activity-Based Working (ABW). Our "Tsukuba Mirai Technology Center" was established in 1992 with the philosophy of connecting diverse environmental equipment technologies that harmonize with rich nature to the future. Various engineers, including members of the research institute, are working day and night to promote environmental creation. The Sapporo Sankei Building is a showroom of diverse technologies that proposes element technologies and their operational methods aimed at achieving a ZEB (Zero Energy Building) in a cold climate. By adopting high-performance exterior walls and windows to minimize loads, energy-saving equipment and systems are introduced. This significantly reduces the building's primary energy consumption while ensuring comfort.
