Dateya Co., Ltd. manufactures and sells various types of San-shu tiles, including ornamental tiles and demon tiles, while also striving to pass on the culture of tiles, which symbolize traditional Japanese houses, to future generations. When it comes to demon tiles, the image of the "demon face" is strong, but "demon faces" are primarily used on buildings that need to be protected by powerful demons, such as shrines and temples. We engage in various types of demon tile production, from handmade products to machine-made demon tiles commonly used in households. Demon craftsmen (demon tile makers) who have passed the "Intermediate Demon Tile Skill Evaluation Certification Exam" established by Aichi Prefecture not only create demon tiles that serve as guardian deities on roofs but also handcraft cute tile accessories and decorative items that can be used for interior design and gardening.
