The metal belt is extremely thin, with a thickness of 0.025 to 0.76 mm, and has a high material yield strength of 182 kg/mm² (SUS301HY). When compared to a chain tooth belt with the same operating load, it is about 1/20 the weight, resulting in very low inertia, which makes high-precision positioning control easy.
