We recover resources from products specified by law (such as air conditioners, CRT televisions, flat-screen televisions, etc.) and recycle them as materials for new home appliances. The Imizu Recycling Center is equipped with new shredding facilities that are all located indoors. It is an advanced plant that not only recovers iron, aluminum, and non-ferrous metals but also has sorting equipment that can automatically collect resources with very small particle sizes, which tend to get mixed in with waste. Our company has developed a technology to recycle solar power panels. The solar power panels are crushed using an indoor shredder sorting line from existing equipment, and metals (such as iron and aluminum) are removed. By utilizing the difference in specific gravity between materials with a wet specific gravity separator (jig separator), we can separate them into upper and lower layers, allowing for the sorting of glass, plastics, and precious metals (such as silver).
