At B-Core, we provide "Edge AI Solutions" that operate image processing and AI on edge devices using cameras. We develop image processing systems tailored to on-site challenges, such as detecting and identifying people, vehicles, and objects, counting individuals, and understanding locations and dwell times. By utilizing edge devices like Jetson and Vieureka, we analyze and make judgments on video data at the site. We can create system configurations that are entirely self-contained on edge devices, as well as integrate with on-premises environments or the cloud, depending on usage environments and security requirements. This is an image processing solution that recognizes and visualizes the movement and status of people, vehicles, and objects from camera footage without using markers or tags. It supports various applications such as facial recognition, visualization of crowd density, pedestrian flow analysis, traffic volume surveys, stop-checking, and forklift monitoring. Additionally, it is possible to build a system utilizing existing cameras. "ColorBit" is an automatic recognition code developed uniquely by our company. It can handle not only straight lines, zigzags, and spirals, but also freely designed shapes. Instead of reading each individual code, it recognizes all codes on the screen at once. This is a unique technology that can be used in situations where applying two-dimensional codes like barcodes and QR codes, as well as RFID and beacons, has been difficult. For example, it can be considered for various applications such as inventory management in factories and warehouses, tracking work-in-progress in manufacturing sites, and managing equipment in offices and facilities. Its ability to grasp multiple targets at once streamlines verification tasks that previously relied on manual labor and visual checks, leading to reduced burdens on the field and enhanced visibility. Its flexibility to be easily integrated according to different applications and environments is also a notable feature.

Colorful and versatile 6DoF is a technology that performs posture calculations within an AI camera to measure the self-positioning of moving objects. It enables high-precision positioning of moving objects with an accuracy of a few centimeters, which is difficult to achieve with technologies using radio waves or ultrasound. - It allows for checking the movement path of the object. - The accurate position can be known in almost real-time. - It can be implemented at a low cost.

The casting molds used for manufacturing vehicle engine parts need to connect a cooling hose and a hose for discharging the warm water used for cooling. The casting molds are equipped with fittings, and the piping work for the hose fittings is regularly performed by workers. During the hose and fitting connection work, visual inspections were conducted to check if the piping was correct; however, damages occurred due to mis-piping caused by human error. ■Density Monitoring System "Mitsushiru" The density monitoring system "Mitsushiru" utilizes Panasonic's IoT camera "Vieureka" to measure real-time congestion levels. This allows for the real-time congestion status of facilities with a large number of users coming and going to be checked online. Users can simply scan a dedicated QR code provided by the facility with their smartphones to quickly check the level of congestion. The display shows five levels in increments of 25%: 00-25%, 25-50%, 50-75%, 75-100%, and over 100%. Users can make their own decisions about whether to go based on the displayed information. Since users can check the congestion status in advance without going to the location, it enables actions that avoid crowding, allowing them to use the facility safely during less busy times. Real-time monitoring of item locations and movements on the management screen - Information on storage, retrieval, and movement is recorded in real-time and shared in the cloud. "Colorful and Complete Human" is a solution that enables non-contact and non-face-to-face entry and exit management even in uniform environments where facial recognition is difficult. It is designed for implementation in high hygiene and safety environments such as food factories, hospitals, and clean rooms. By attaching our unique recognition code "Color Bit" to uniforms and hats, individual recognition is possible even when faces are obscured by masks or protective gear. Utilizing the edge AI-compatible IoT camera "Vieureka" from Vieureka Inc., the moments of entry and exit are recorded as images. Through server integration, history and duration of stay can be centrally managed in the cloud. Administrators can set flexible viewing and operational permissions, and integration with personnel ledgers and attendance systems in CSV format is also possible. This solution eliminates the need for cards and touch, achieving a labor-saving, low-contact, and reliable authentication environment.
