This is an optical manufacturer with over 110 years of history, originating from Sugita Glass Instrument Store founded by Tōtarō Sugita in 1906 (Meiji 39). The main business is the research and manufacturing of glass, and for many years, it has supplied a wide variety of glass products to various fields. In 1982, the company changed its name to Sugito Co., Ltd. and promoted business expansion, designing, developing, manufacturing, and selling optical elements such as optical lenses and prisms, glass products like special lenses and magnifying glasses, as well as optical products and components including macro zoom lenses, microscopes, various scopes, and inspection equipment. Additionally, in 1993, a factory was newly established in Thailand to enhance the production capacity of glass products and lenses. The company keeps standard optical elements and lens systems in stock at all times and can sell from a single unit.
