The KDM-8, one of the largest automatic sand molding lines in Japan introduced by Kanamori Metal Co., Ltd., can produce castings with high dimensional accuracy using sand molds. With a frame size of 1000x800x560 (mm), one of the largest in the country, products that could only be made with self-hardening methods until now can be produced with stable quality from the robust molds created by the KDM-8. As for the manufacturing method, it employs a double squeeze technique to enhance mold precision.
