CTS 3 can perform verification of counterpart products by emulating NFC readers/writers or cards that use 13.56MHz, such as ISO 14443 and FeliCa. It is also effective in the development and verification of the NFC component used in digital keys established by the CCC (Car Connectivity Consortium). Additionally, the test bench centered around CTS III is an NFC Forum certified testing tool, capable of conducting compliance tests for both analog and digital tests as specified by the NFC Forum. The certification testing for the NFC functionality of CCC digital keys is covered as part of the tests defined by the NFC Forum. Furthermore, Fime Japan is the only NFC Forum certified lab in Japan, providing not only the sale of testing tools but also certification testing services.

Facial recognition is one of the powerful authentication methods that allows for contactless identity verification. Fime provides functional testing and security testing for facial recognition devices and systems. In addition to the testing methods defined by FIDO and ISO, customized testing is available. Customized testing includes scenarios that simulate the actual use of facial recognition devices, such as tests focused on Asian faces or tests that emphasize the trade-off between customer experience and security and functionality, tailored to meet customer requests. Fime is an accredited lab for biometric devices and systems for FIDO, Mastercard, and Android. We address challenges and requests such as: - Internal testing incurs excessive labor and costs - Collecting samples (human faces) is difficult - We want to undergo testing by a reliable third-party organization - We want to validate not only functionality and security but also user experience - We are unsure which tests are optimal - We want to select the most suitable device for facial recognition - We want to obtain certification from FIDO and Android.

We provide functional and performance testing of biometric authentication sensors and systems as a reliable third-party lab. One method of ensuring accurate identity verification is through biometric authentication. It is safer and more reliable than passwords, offers an excellent user experience, and is increasingly used in various scenarios today. Before launching devices or systems that utilize biometric authentication into the market, it is crucial to understand their capabilities and vulnerabilities to improve quality. The quality of biometric authentication is influenced by the sensors that recognize the biometrics, the ergonomics of capturing the biometrics (considering environmental constraints and user handling), and the applications or algorithms that match the captured biometrics to templates. Our company verifies the performance (FAR, FRR, FMR, FNMR, FTA, FTE) of sensors and systems utilizing biometric authentication, as well as the performance of authenticators and solutions, including Presentation Attack Detection (PAD: impersonation detection, IAPMR, APCER, BPCER), to measure the effectiveness of the products.
