Stellar Craft Co., Ltd. has released the software "Pathoras" as open-source software (OSS), which enables secure SIM authentication in Wi-Fi environments in conjunction with the 5G core (5GC). This aims to promote the integration of local 5G and Wi-Fi (complementing 5G dead zones) and achieve high security compliant with 5G through SIM authentication (EAP-AKA/AKA'). Key features include advanced security with "no ID/password required," flexible connectivity support for AUSF/UDM/UDR, reduced operational burden by utilizing existing 5GC information (no dedicated database required), and an open specification adopting the Apache License 2.0.
